How do I rename or edit a custom area?

To edit an existing area, return to your Areas screen from the Admin panel. 

Click on the name of the area you want to edit. 

You can now update the area's name, the state for benchmarking, and geographic building blocks.

To add a geographic building block that comprises your area, begin typing in the Define Your Area box to search for a city, county, census tract, or ZIP code tabulation area. To remove a building block, click the red X to remove it. When you are done, click Save Area.
