Understanding the Compare screen
The Compare screen is useful for exploring how one data indicator varies across a series of geographic areas and how different areas score for a selected indicator, relative to the state or national benchmark. This screen will automatically depict data describing all of the areas configured on the platform. Use the drop-down options at the top of the screen to select the data indicator you’re interested in exploring, and which benchmark you’d like to use for comparison.
The Compare screen shows a list of all geographic areas configured in the platform, the corresponding indicator values for each area, a benchmark value for comparison, and a Z-score analysis output for each domain and indicator. The score column shows a “fuel gauge” visualization of how each area performs for the selected indicator, relative to the selected benchmark. Learn more about interpreting the fuel gauge visualization here.
